Guitar stock spotlight - Custom spec Jennings Voyager 'Deluxe'
This is a build, custom spec'd through the Home of Tone by a customer and I wanted to share it here on the blog, as it's a classy one!
Harrison Vaughan demos the Jennings 'Double Bound' Navigator at Resonance Education
I had the pleasure of spending the day at a truly superb local education facility, Resonance, last week courtesy of students Harrison Vaughan and Josh Oldfield. The plan was to capture some tones with the Jennings Guitars 'Navigator' I currently have in stock, from traditional demos to jams and soundscapes. Great to watch the two talented chaps work, how they'd set up the rig for recording etc and to watch them play too! Harrison will be uploaded a collection of videos recorded on the day on his own YouTube channel for his portfolio, and you can check out the first of the bunch below!
Stock feature - 2022 Jennings 'Navigator' La Cabronita inspired build
Next up for my stock feature, is this seriously fun, La Cabronita inspired spec build. This one features a Swamp Ash body finished in a beautiful new colour from Jennings, Satin Fern Green in exposed grain. This we felt this complimented the colour of the roasted quartersawn maple neck (one piece board and neck too) really nicely!
Stock feature - 2022 Jennings Guitars 'Navigator' 62 Tele Custom inspired build
Let's take a closer look at one of my recent custom guitars for stock, with a beautiful 'Navigator' model by Jennings Guitars.
For this build I took inspiration from one of my favourite eras of vintage Telecasters, the 62 Custom, and opted for a double bound model, but with some superb Jennings character and unique boutique specs.

Custom order Jennings Navigator landed! - Stock feature
I wanted to put together a little spotlight feature on a beautiful custom order Jennings 'Navigator' guitar I handled the order and import of on behalf of my customer, share some details on it's specs and of course some photos! So let's take a closer look -
Two new Jennings Guitars builds commissioned!
I have just confirmed the orders of two new stock instruments from Jennings Guitars due for completion around February 2022! Both me and Chad wanted to shine the spotlight on the Navigator model this time around and we have spec'd out two amazing builds to do just that. Both of these builds are available, so you can make either yours! As we've picked specs that have otherwise not been built before, I don't have photo examples of exactly what they will look like, but I do have photos of other builds that have featured one or more of the options I've chosen for each, so hopefully they will help visualise things!
I sent the Jennings Voyager Deluxe to John Cordy...
...and he has made some beautiful sounds with it (when does he not?!). Here's a bunch of the videos he's made so far with the guitar!
Dipswitch Demos | Our Jennings Voyager Deluxe!
The brilliant Jackson at Dipswitch Demos kindly spent some time with our Jennings Voyager Deluxe and put together this demo video! Running through a range of sounds available from the McNelly Pickups set too. Really appreciate Jackson's work on this!

Following on from the great editorial review feature in this month's Guitar Magazine, editor Chris Vinnicombe has also kindly filmed a demo video of our two stock Jennings Guitars too and it has just been released on their YouTube channel!

Jennings hit the pages of Guitar Magazine this month!
The latest issue of Guitar Magazine is out, and it has a glorious 6 page feature on our beloved Jennings Guitars! Whenever some of my brands get featured in this great magazine I can't help but feel very proud to represent them here. Huge thanks to Chris, Joe and the guys at Guitar magazine, really grateful for the continued support of my brands, and store.
Mark Johnston getting to know his Jennings Voyager
I've been following Mark's instagram account for a little while as a constant source of ambient and pedal based inspiration, and recently he became the owner of a beautiful Jennings Voyager so have been following even closer to see what he creates with it. Mark's Voyager is outfitted with a set of McNelly Stagger Swagger V2s so it's been great to hear these pickups in an ambient setting. Here's a video from his YouTube channel, the first with his Jennings and displays both his tasteful music and the gear in question. Hope you enjoy
Jennings Guitars Announce 'Navigator' - Their homage to an icon
After months of work, I was really pleased to see Jennings announce their latest guitar, The Navigator last week. I was lucky enough to be sent quite a few teaser photos whilst Chad & Devin were working on this model, and you could definitely tell they weren't content with simply making another 'Tele'. Sure, it would be very important to be true to the design, the reason why the Tele works as well as it does after all! But do so with their own stamp, as well as an interesting ethos behind why they wanted to approach a classic design as opposed to another unique shape to their lineup.
