A year with my Millimetric MGS3

A year with my Millimetric MGS3

I knew it must have been approaching the arrival 'anniversary' soon but with life as busy as it's been of late it had slipped my mind. It wasn't until someone kindly commented on my 'NGD' unboxing video over on my YouTube channel last night that I realised yesterday marked a year to the day since my MGS3 arrived! So I thought it might be good to follow up on my time spent with the guitar and ultimately, did I still admire it as much as those first few weeks/months we often call the honeymoon period. Well the good news for me, is of course a resounding yes!

John gets weird and wonderful with the MGS2

I am partial to mad sounds, and when it's paired with incredible playing then it's so much fun to listen to. This video from John Cordy with our Millimetric MGS2 put a huge grin on my face. Awesome sounds! Thanks, John!

Millimetric Instruments MGS2 & the J Rockett 'Dude' drive pedal

John has been at it again with another amazing look at his playing, whilst using our demo model Millimetric Instruments MGS2 with MMLS Lipstick style pickups along with a J Rockett 'Dude' drive pedal. Great clean as well low/mid gain sounds here.

I should also mention that John is a Loaded For Bear Audio cables artist, so you can see lots of LFB cables in these videos too!

John x MGS2 x TateFX

John x MGS2 x TateFX

After those searing lead tones from Millimetric MGS2 on the last couple of John's videos, he did some awesome work with some low-mid gain tones courtesy of the brilliant Tate FX Antares drive pedal. I love Tate FX pedals, so it was great to see this included in the video! Thanks again to John, and be sure to sub to his YouTube channel if you don't already, daily uploads of inspiring guitar playing

John Nathan Cordy & our Millimetric Instruments MGS2

John Nathan Cordy & our Millimetric Instruments MGS2

John kindly reached out to me due to our mutual friend, Jon from Loaded For Bear Audio cables whom I've begun working with.
An absolutely astonishing guitar player, and after meeting at this weekend's Guitar Show proved to be an absolutely lovely person too! John is kindly working on some videos for me with our beloved Millimetric MGS2 demo model and good lord, has he come up with the goods mere hours since handing the guitar over! I genuinely had to pick my jaw up off the floor when I heard this, unreal sounds and even better playing. I'm in awe, John! Those lead sounds!!

Be sure to subscribe to Johns YouTube channel, support what he is doing as he is one of the good guys.

Guitar Magazine video demo of our Millimetric Instruments MGS2!

Guitar Magazine video demo of our Millimetric Instruments MGS2!

This was a very pleasant surprise, as I didn't realise it had been released! Sam at Guitar Magazine put together this beautiful video showing our demo model, Millimetric MGS2. I personally feel it's a great complimentary video to our existing simple clean tone videos, as this demo shows it through a variety of effects and a lovely mix of open chords and playing. Hearing a guitar in a variety of ways can be really helpful, and this video fits in so nicely with what videos I have already made of the guitar, along with what videos I still have planned with it (lots of different drives!).
Really enjoyed the video, and a genuine surprise to see it as I wasn't aware it had been released so totally passed me by! Doh!

My Millimetric Instruments MGS3 featured in Stuff Magazine!

My Millimetric Instruments MGS3 featured in Stuff Magazine!

I was kindly approached by a writer at Stuff Magazine as they wanted to include Millimetric Instruments in their 'Upvoted' segment covering 9 superb guitars. What more I had the opportunity to photography it myself too which as a photography fan for almost as long as guitars was something I couldn't pass up to have a photo I had taken as the main image for the article, very humbled!

But I must say, it feels very cool to have used my own personal MGS3 for the shoot and have it in a major print magazine! Thanks to Stuff Magazine and Richard Purvis for getting in touch and having me involved in this feature, means a lot!
