Pre-wired kits for Bass models

My pre-wired harnesses have been a big part of my product range since the very early days of the Home of Tone in 2015. Having made well over 3500 kits for customers across the world, further refining via your great feedback and requests, along with my own research and preferences. I hope you find the spec/kit you're looking for and thank you for considering a Signature Series kit for your instrument!
I'm realistic when it comes to tonal improvements via the wiring components, there's no snake oil, no mystical tone secrets. I simply believe that using good quality, well built, tight tolerance components will help you bring out the best in the pickups and more easily predict the effect they will have on the tone. I feel that my Signature Series wiring kits are a testament to that.

Here is my selection of kits suitable for bass guitar models like Broncos, Musicmaster, P Basses and more. You'll find in depth descriptions about each wiring style/method, specific component choices used and fitting notes too.

This is the second harness I've bought from James. Immaculately presented, very neat and tidy and dropped into my 57 p bass reissue perfectly. Volume and tone work very nicely with even roll off across the range. Replaced the crumbled and damaged pots and bridge ground wire for what I'm sure will be many trouble free years to come. Thanks again James

After having issues with my p-bass volume pot I decided to change the the tone and Jack as well and chose the pre-wired harness from James Home of Tone. Proved to be a good decision as the quality of the components and the wiring are second to none. Everything just fitted perfectly and was very easy to simply attach the pickup wires and ground wires. All works great and my bass is back to being good as new. 10/10 for service, quality and price

i was a bit sceptical about the claims made. I have been playing/customizing/building basses for many years and was always disappointed by other harnesses i have tried. Having owned many "Boutique" basses over my career i decided to go back to basics and purchased a Vantage Reissue P bass because i never found a Fender i liked. I replaced the stock p/ups with Seymour Duncan quarter pounders but was still not happy so decided to try the home of tone harness,,,what a difference!! this harness brought out the full power and tone of the p/ups. This is now my go to bass, thanks a lot James :)
