New Squier Bronco bass upgrade kit!

My wife recently expressed an interest in learning bass, and like many of us, I certainly couldn't turn down an opportunity to hunt for new gear! There has been a bass in our home before, in the form of a beautiful Shoreline Gold Squier PJ bass which was a lovely thing but was sadly sold during a cull. We did recall that she realy didn't like picking that one up though due to the size, being a 'full' scale P bass at 34", so perhaps a short scale would be the way to go...

Thinking of swapping your pickups? - A handy guide for new tone hunters!

Changing your guitar's pickups can prove to be a brilliantly cost effective way of transforming the sound of your guitar, and also a way of bringing out the best in your instrument. For so many it has been the first port of call in modifying their guitar and changing their sound. Perhaps you're planning on tweaking a more entry level Squier for example, chances are that you love how the guitar feels and plays but it's low quality pickups just don't quite do the job. This can sometimes even be the case with higher value instruments and it's existing pickups just simply don't fit the bill for you, be it personal tastes etc.

Home of Tone - Now catering a little more respectfully for BASS!

I have to admit, I was disappointed I hadn't yet catered for Bass Guitars very much here at Home of Tone. But it certainly was top of my agenda. With a passion for stringed instruments spreading a long way, I really wanted to capture some great items for the lower frequency thumper!

So along with now offering a nice array of quality Bass Guitar components, like those from Gotoh, AllParts, Fender & GraphTech for example, we feel we are developing a nice collection here!

Squier 20th Anniversary PJ Bass

We also picked up a rather lovely Squier 20th Anniversary PJ Bass in Shoreline Gold! It's a beaut! This is going to be a demo tool, showing some of the various parts available including the selection of McNelly Bass pickups we have here. So prepare for some more blog updates & demo videos of how they sound real soon!

Once again, apologies for this taking so long! But I hope the parts we have on offer here for Bass Guitars are enjoyed and we'll continue to grow the collection further.
