Replacing, or in some cases upgrading your guitar wiring may be a matter of necessity if there are niggling faults perhaps, but you may also have considered replacing it as a way of improving the bass. So, the big question of course is would it make any difference?
I'm realistic when it comes to tonal improvements via the wiring components, there's no snake oil, no mystical tone secrets. I simply believe that using good quality, well built, tight tolerance components will help you bring out the best in the pickups and more easily predict the effect they will have on the tone. I feel that my Signature Series wiring kits are a testament to that.
I have had many customers over the years amazed at the difference a new harness has made to their guitar and the sound produced, and that's great to hear! I personally feel that quality electronic components in your guitar or bass will help bring the best out of the pickups, and that's what I set out to achieve with the component choices in my harnesses.
