New from Benson Amps and David Torn, the STÖRKN B0kš!

ȘTÖRKN B0kš time!

This riff on the Stonk Box is a collaboration between Benson Amos and creative composer, guitarist and much more, David Torn!

During the testing and development of the Stonk Box, Benson reached out to David to gather feedback and experience due to the artists familiarity with the classic fuzz it’s based upon. But ideas soon began circulating for a signature version with a few extra features, and the ȘTÖRKN B0kš was born.

Chris Benson of Benson Amps talks business, amps and his pedal range with TPS

Chris Benson, of the great Benson Amps recently visited 'That Pedal Show' to make a video showcasing his work. I am a big fan of Chris, and his amp/pedal creations and consider myself lucky to carry stock of his pedals here at the Home of Tone too. So I was excited to watch and listen to the video the guys all made together, and interested to see what Chris might say about his pedals along the journey through TPS trying them out too. So here all of the Benson pedal range is discussed and showcased through a range of guitars and settings so it is a great way to digest the full range to see if any might sit right at home in your rigs too. If you want to see the Benson Amps pedal range you can do so via my shop HERE.
New release from Benson Amps, The Stonk Box!

New release from Benson Amps, The Stonk Box!

Welcoming the latest Benson pedal to the range, The Stonk box! This is a thermally biased Tonebender Mk1 / Zonk inspired fuzz pedal, and brought the smiles on my first plug in test that's for sure, along with some surprise faces too thanks to it's versatility. From vintage Ge fuzz tones, to semi gated, from fairly clean boost to treble booster and fuzzy overdrive, it covers a surprising amount of ground and I've enjoyed finding them all within it's 4 controls.
