Boost / preamp pedals

Boost and pre-amp based pedals can offer a player a whole lot more than just a push in volume, making them a must-have pedal for your board. Depending on the pedal itself, or how you use it in your chain, it can be a much need clean signal boost, a nudge to the front end of the amp, a little EQ colouring or a match made in heaven when layered with a drive or fuzz. There are so many great ways you can ultilise a boost or preamp based pedal and I feel the offerings I have available here at the Home of Tone will have most players requirements covered. I've included pedals in this collection, where they perhaps have other functions too but have a boost function at their core.
