I've long appreciated quality cables. A number of years back I skeptically tried a premium cable in replacement of my usual budget ones and was amazed by the difference, I haven't looked back since! A quality cable isn't just about signal quality alone though I think, it's about longevity and reliability, they can take a beating over the years particularly with gigging musicians, so having a cable you can trust to work as it should is a key buying point.
