New shirts!

New shirts!

This shirt idea came about for a few reasons. Firstly, I love those late 90s Independent Trucks brand skateboard shirts, and this design started life as an idea to capture some of the vibes from those awesome designs I loved so much.
Dipswitch Demos takes on the challenge of demo-ing a compressor! The Ground Control Audio Serpens

Dipswitch Demos takes on the challenge of demo-ing a compressor! The Ground Control Audio Serpens

I must admit, approaching a demo channel with the intention of asking them to demo a compressor pedal is daunting. But luckily for me, Jackson knows a thing or two about pedal demos and compressors so he was able to lay down this fantastic run through of our beloved Ground Control Audio Serpens!

A huge thank you to jackson for taking the time to demo the Serpens and the other GCA pedals he worked on for us, I know both myself and Seb at GCA are very grateful of his work. Be sure to check out his channel and subscribe!

Dipswitch Demos at it again! This time with the Ground Control Audio, Blood Oath!

I love this pedal, I own one and it sits proudly on my personal pedal board. For me it feels like two drives in one with the drive side and the pre-amp side capturing two vibes and dynamic response. Jackson has captured and described this very well indeed in his video but ultimately, demonstrates it brilliantly too!

Dipswitch Demos feature the Ground Control Audio 'Locust'!

If you've visited the friends page on my website, you'll see that I'm a fan of Jackson's great work over on his Dipswitch Demos YouTube channel and other medias. Well, I'm very honoured to say he featured the brilliant Ground Control Audio 'Locust' pedal for us and has done a superb job of both describing the functionality and design of the pedal along with an in-depth demo too!

Huge thanks to Jackson!
Back doing what it loves most!

Back doing what it loves most!

You may remember that recently I was helping my Dad advertise his late 70s Gibson Les Paul Custom for sale. Letting this guitar go to a new home was a huge decision and it very much had to be the right person it went to. Well, it's safe to say the new owner, Neil, is that right person. I can only say from my perspective, but something didn't feel right about this guitar sitting in a case rarely being played let alone gigged like it did for many years with my Dad. Neil gigs on a very regular basis with some superb venues with his band, Blue Nation and really favours Gibson guitars in his rig.

Home of Tone x Mother Mary Co Collab #2!

The second of my collaborations with the brilliant Mother Mary Company is here! I worked alongside Anthony at MMco to personally choose this fabric design as a Home of Tone exclusive, so you won't find this MMco strap at any other dealer worldwide and is a limited edition item.

How to guide - What do I need to do to my Tele neck pickup for it to work with 4 way switching?

How to guide - What do I need to do to my Tele neck pickup for it to work with 4 way switching?

4 way switching for a Tele is a fantastic way to retain the existing, classic 3 pickup positions of neck pickup only, bridge pickup only and neck & bridge pickups in parallel. But if you've fancied achieving a slightly beefier, almost humbucker esq sound too but didn't want to compromise the rest of your Tele sounds as they are, 4 way switching offers you an additional position: Neck & bridge pickups in series! Putting the two pickups in series as opposed to parallel creates a louder and chunkier sound and it can be great fun to have this available to you without compromising the traditional 3 position tele sounds.
Product spotlight - McNelly Pickups 46/58 for Jazzmaster

Product spotlight - McNelly Pickups 46/58 for Jazzmaster

One of my absolutely favourite sets from the McNelly range, the 46/58 is a wonderfully dynamic pickup that captures the chime and bass response we associate with the Jazzmaster along with the mid-rangy dynamic of a great P90. They're a hybrid design, which is where the name '46/58' comes into play, as they're the market introduction years of the Gibson P90, and the Fender Jazzmaster single coil which is a nice tip of the hat to their inspiration.
Meet the latest McNelly Pickups set! The Chaplain

Meet the latest McNelly Pickups set! The Chaplain

I've been really excited about this set, after Tim teased some prototype videos on his social media channels recently.

McNelly have never let tradition dictate design and The Chaplain is a testament to that approach. By taking some inspiration from the Charlie Christians, Tim has made something that's not only bold, but extremely expressive with none of the honk. The tight and punchy low end is combined with exceptional clarity that is well beyond any traditional humbucker. But don't mistake this for a jazz-only affair. When you push harder, you'll be rewarded with dynamic response and distortion that doesn't get in the way of chords.
Product spotlight- Gravity Picks 003!

Product spotlight- Gravity Picks 003!

I've been a stockist of Gravity Guitar Picks since first opening in 2015, and they'res very good reason for that. Product consistency in quality and finish & customer response. Be it your first venture away from popular celluloid or tortex etc picks we all started playing with, or a veteran of the 'boutique' guitar pick world, Gravity provide a high quality product that is definitely worth trying I feel.

So I thought I'd spotlight a fairly new pick to their range, which was a reaction to many many requests for Gravity to product a closer Jazz III style pick in their material and finish. So the 003 joins the family!
