For a gold pole piece bridge T-Bar - This particular McNelly pickup model is hand made to order in Canada. McNelly are currently working to a roughly 6-8 week wait time on made to order pickups. By placing an order through the website, I will handle this made to order process from there on out. I handle the order, importing from Canada for you and once they're here, I inspect and ship them out to you.
About the T-Bar bridge pickup
The T-Bar is one of those pickups that stops you in your tracks. It is a direct replacement Tele bridge pickup size, but packs a familiar P90 punch. They feature adjustable poles and blend some of the tonal characteristics of a traditional soapbar P90 into a direct replacement for a tele. The tone is fatter and will more readily push the front end of your rig with higher output. For those who love to rock out on a tele, these add some fun flavours!

Pole pieces
The T-Bar bridge pickup is available with either nickel, or gold finished pole pieces. Simply select the pole piece finish you require via the drop-down options
Nerdy specs
Magnet - Ceramic
Type - Passive
Wire type - 2 wire
No baseplate
DCR bridge - 10.2k
Magnet direction - North up
Coil direction - Clockwise
Recommended wiring - We personally love this pickup when paired with 500k pots. We find that this captures the extra power of the design and P90 characteristic, whilst retaining some 'twang' familiar with Telecasters. But it also works well for some players with 250k pots, it will result in a slightly 'darker' tone and capture a perhaps Les Paul Junior style response. But for optimal use, we recommend 500k pots and a .022uF tone capacitor value.
Will it fit my guitar?
This specific T-Bar bridge pickup is traditional Telecaster bridge pickup size and mount. It is intended for traditional suspended mounting via the Tele bridge plate and has a threaded fibreboard baseplate. It doesn't have a copper baseplate, so if you rely on a metal baseplate to ground your bridge/strings, then upon installing a T-Bar you will need to add in a separate bridge plate ground wire to ensure your strings are ground going forward.
What's included?
Inside the box you'll find the pickup you have ordered, along with your mounting screws and rubber tubings.
Installation
This pickup is traditional 2 wire as standard (Gavitt cloth 22awg wire, usually off-white for hot and black for ground). If by chance you aren't comfortable installing these pickups yourself, and are local to the Home of Tone, then I offer professional in-house installation. If you are installing them yourself, then I am of course here for any installation advise too.
Hear the T-Bar bridge
These two videos show a T-Bar neck & bridge set with 500k pots fitted, much more Tele esq but with a much fatter tone!
