Ordering/made to order lead time
This particular McNelly pickup model is hand made to order in Canada. McNelly are currently working to a roughly 6-8 week wait time on made to order pickups. By placing an order through the website, I will handle this made to order process from there on out. I handle the order, importing from Canada for you and once they're here, I inspect and ship them out to you.
About the S-Bar
The T-Bar for the Telecaster is right up there as one of the biggest sellers from the McNelly Pickups range. It has long been a custom request model in strat single coil sizing instead, and the good news is it has finally hit the standard line-up!
The aptly named 'S-Bar' is one of those pickups that stops you in your tracks. It is a direct replacement Strat neck, middle and bridge size, but does an incredible job of capturing the character of an awesome P90 tonally. They feature recessed adjustable poles and blend some of the tonal characteristics of a traditional soapbar P90 into a direct replacement for a Strat. The tone is fatter and will more readily push the front end of your rig with higher output. For those who love to rock out on a Strat, these add some fun flavours!
When you hear them, you have question it as it is so hard to imagine it is possible to get so close to that of a hearty P90 loaded guitar in a Strat. But these definitely do. With your standard 250k strat pots, the tone will be fat, yet dynamic, like a great P90 would be!
Nerdy specs

Wire type - 2 wire
Magnet type - Ceramic
DCR neck - 8.5k
DCR middle - 8.85k
DCR bridge - 10.6k
Magnet direction - North to strings (Neck), South to strings (middle), North to strings (bridge)
Coil direction - Clockwise (neck), Counter-Clockwise (middle), Clockwise (bridge)
Recommended wiring - The S-Barsr pickups are 'optimal' when paired with 250k pots and a 0.022uF tone capacitor.
Will they fit my guitar?
The S-Bar for Strat pickup is traditional Strat single coil pickup sizing, as such, will fit any standard/traditional Strat model without modification.
Cover Options
McNelly pickups are listed individually, so simply add the neck, middle and/or bridge pickup in the cover option you wish, to the cart.
The Nostalgia for Strat is available with a range of popular plastic covers included.

Inside the box you'll find the pickup(s) you have ordered, along with your mounting screws and height foams for each.
Installation
These pickups are a traditional Stratocaster single coil size/style. They are 2 conductor wired (black for ground, off-white for hot). If by chance you aren't comfortable installing these pickups yourself, and are local to the Home of Tone, then I offer professional in-house installation. If you are installing them yourself, then I am of course here for any installation advise too.
