About
Heat Shrink can help with any guitar wiring work, helping to keep long wire runs tidy, protecting/isolating 'hot' or ground connections or even to add some extra strength to weaker wire joints. I personally use these on my wiring harnesses, and I offer it here in 1ft lengths in a variety of diameters too in case you'd like to use some too.
2:1 shrink ratio
Comes cut in a 1ft length. If you order more than 1x quantity of the same diameter, I will leave in a continiouslength should stock allow.
Available diameters
Diameters listed are for the pre-shrunk ID and all diameters are 2:1 shrink ratio.
1.6mm - This size fits over most capacitor lead outs, or the 20swg ground bus wire I stock comfortably for example.
2.4mm - This size fits over my stocked Gavitt wire comfortably.
3.2mm - This size fits over the Gavitt braided Gibson style wire comfortably.
6.4mm - This size is useful if you have two or three wires in a run that you want to keep together and tidied up.
9.5mm - Aas above this one is useful for multiple wire runs to help neaten things up.
Ordering/shipping
Local pickup - If you are local and wish to collect any items or order in advance for collection on a specific day, then you can still place an order online and select local pickup at the checkout. Or drop me a message and I'll reserve the items ready for your visit.
For online ordering and dispatch - In stock, non made to order items are processed and dispatched 3 days a week; Monday, Wednesday & Friday.
For orders that are placed on a Monday, Wednesday & Friday I have an order cut off time of 12:00GMT to allow me chance to process, pack and dispatch your order same day.
For non dispatch days (Saturday, Sunday, Tuesday & Thursday) there is no order cut-off time, and these will be processed, packed and shipped on the closest following dispatch day.
I will always endeavor to fulfill orders as quickly as I can and if you have specific requirements for a delivery date please do let me know and hopefully I can help.
