About the Duckling!
Now this one oozes cool! This pickup is for the Tele players who have a thing for the wicked vibe of a Strat neck pickup (I know I fall into this territory!). The rich deep lows to the clear and glassy chime is all there, but squeezed into a standard Tele size.
The Duckling will give even a great Strat a run for it's money.
Nerdy specs
Magnet - Alnico 5
Type - Passive
Wire type - 2 wire
DCR bridge - 6k
Magnet direction - South up
Coil direction - Counter-Clockwise
Recommended wiring - The Duckling pickup is generally seen paired with 250k pots, and a 0.022uF capacitor, but you could also pair it with a 0.047uF if you prefer a slightly warmer tone and steeper roll off.
Will it fit my guitar?
This specific Duckling is traditional Telecaster bridge pickup size and mount. It can be mounted to a pickguard, or direct into the body within the pickup route, depending on your exact guitars requirements.
Installation
This pickup is traditional 2 wire as standard (Gavitt cloth 22awg wire, usually off-white for hot and black for ground). If by chance you aren't comfortable installing these pickups yourself, and are local to the Home of Tone, then I offer professional in-house installation. If you are installing them yourself, then I am of course here for any installation advise too
