About
I’m a big fan of CTS pots. Some of the best quality items available, great range and build. These items are a great upgrade/repair modification pot to use for your guitar. They are spec'd with the CTS 'A' 10% taper which helps achieve fast roll-off from max volume, allows for quick swell techniques with a snappy response.
They're from the CTS '450' Series. They feature high quality construction and a 20% tolerance.
What control knobs will fit?
These will fit 5.95mm split shaft 24 spline push-fit type control knobs. If you have control knobs which require solid shaft pots, you can additionally use a brass conversion sleeve which converts the 5.95mm split to 6.35mm solid suitable for USA spec grub screw fit control knobs. Brass sleeves can be bought HERE
Will they fit my guitar?
The long shaft pot spec is primarily designed for guitars where the pot needs to mount through a thicker top/body. This is why they are commonly found on thicker, carved maple cap Les Pauls for example.
Buying these pots for a Les Paul? Then the question I probably get asked most is, "I have a Les Paul, will I need long or short shaft pots?". Well Gibson are of course known for lots of transitional changes to specs from the golden era right up to modern day. Here's a general list of which models take either type. But, if you're still not sure, the simplest answer is that ALL types of Gibson or Epiphone Les Paul will fit a long shaft pot, as you can adjust the two supplied nuts to suit the height in the body. All Epiphone Les Paul's with exception of the Elitist model use short shaft pots.

Local pickup - If you are local and wish to collect any items or order in advance for collection on a specific day, then you can still place an order online and select local pickup at the checkout. Or drop me a message and I'll reserve the items ready for your visit.
For online ordering and dispatch - In stock, non made to order items are processed and dispatched 4 days a week; Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday.
For orders that are placed on a Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday I have an order cut off time of 14:00GMT (with Royal Mail shipping services only) to allow me chance to process, pack and dispatch your order same day.
For non dispatch days (Saturday, Sunday, & Thursday) there is no order cut-off time, and these will be processed, packed and shipped on the closest following dispatch day.
