About

The guitar tech's favourite friend for many years!

Big Bends 'Nut Sauce' has been a go-to tech bench item for good reason, it is the Guitar Techs and players secret to staying in tune and ending string breakage. Nut Sauce is a cutting-edge lubricant that is applied to the nut, bridge, string guides and pivot points of the bridge. It is clean and safe, will not run or drip, and is non-staining. It is entirely synthetic and contains no petroleum products. It has the lowest co-efficiency of friction of any product of its kind in the world. That means nothing can keep you in-tune or reduce string breakage like Big Bends Nut Sauce!

Nut Sauce is a great 'peace of mind' servicing item, removing concerns about tuning and string breakage. It also stops wear and tear at the bridge and nut, increases sustain and harmonics, and improves overall playability of any stringed instrument.
I have used it for years, and I'm proud to offer it here to my customers too.

Please note; This is the 0.5cc 'lil luber' small size, so if you would prefer the larger version please see my other listings.

Instructions for use

Gently pull back on plunger to draw lubricant away from tip and to test pressure needed to work applicator. Detune/relieve tension from the strings so they can be lifted out of the nut slot. While lifting string out of the nut slot, add a very small amount of Nut Sauce (with applicator or microbrush provided) into the slot. Also, at this time add a small amount to the underside of the string guides and a small amount beneath the strings at the saddle/string bearing surface of the bridge. This is very important if you break strings at the bridge. For more info on how to use Big Bends Nut Sauce, please also visit - www.bigbends.com.
Only use as directed, contains Teflon & synthetic lubricants.

If you are experiencing binding at the top nut, tuning instability, string breakages etc, then I would personally highly recommend firstly having the guitar looked at by a trusted local tech. As you may have incorrectly slotted nut slots, sharp knurls/edges on tuner posts or bridge saddles that will need addressing and even with a great product like Nut Sauce, it wouldn't resolve completely. If you are local and what your guitar looked at, then do please get in touch with me to arrange an appointment. More info on my guitar services HERE
