McNelly - Soap Bar Autumn

This low/medium output set has sweet soft attack with highs that are more singing than screaming. There's a juiciness to the neck, almost like a perceived sag, that gives a sense of age. The bridge saturates with creamy mids, making single note work full without being brash. It's one of McNelly's takes on the early PAFs - now adapted to P90 size. So if you love those classic Alnico 2 based PAF humbucker tones, with a mid output, the Autumn is a great choice.

Recommended wiring - The Autumn soapbar sized humbucker is generally seen paired with 500k pots, and 0.022uF. 

This specific variant of Autumn humbucker pickup is traditional Soapbar P90 sizing (roughly 85.6mm x 35.1mm cover for example) and you can choose whether to have them as body mount, or pickguard mount. Body mount is the traditional way soapbar P90s are mounted, with wood screws going through the pickup cover and into the guitars pickup cavity with either foam or springs underneath for height adjustment.
If you need the pickup to suspect from a pickguard, you will need to select pickguard mount. The pickup will be made with small tabs either side of the cover, allowing suspended mounting to a pickguard/ring via screws and springs.

These pickups are a traditional sized soapbar P90, albeit a humbucker in coil design. They are traditional 2 conductor wired as standard (Gavitt braided style wire where outer braiding is ground, central cloth covered wire is 'hot'). If by chance you aren't comfortable installing these pickups yourself, and are local to the Home of Tone, then I offer professional in-house installation. If you are installing them yourself, then I am of course here for any installation advise too.
