McNelly Wild Range Humbucker pickup
Due to the wide variety of options, cover styles and models offered by McNelly Pickups, most are made to order.
Current estimate on made to order McNelly Pickups is around 5-6 weeks.
Once you place your order here, I will personally handle the order with McNelly Pickups and let you know when the pickup is made and making it's way to me. Once it is here, I personally inspect the pickup and prepare it for dispatch (or collection) for you.
Local pickup - If you are local and wish to collect your pickup once it is ready, then you can still place an order online and select local pickup at the checkout.

The Wild Range Humbucker was a pickup that ended up with a change of direction. The original plans was to create a totally vintage correct replacement, even going as far as sourcing the original spec parts. But in true McNelly form, the idea to further improve on the design was the highest priority. Creating a pickup that could even be considered as an 'upgrade' over vintage models.
The neck is fat with a chime that is more articulate than a vintage WRHB. It's a great one if you find your vintage neck a little dark. The bridge has full clear tone that cuts. What really shines in these pickups is the balance of fatness and clarity. They can achieve a lovely break up that is rich and clear. With the number of WRHB size pickup options available, we're proud to offer something you don't see elsewhere. They're a fresh take on classics and we're loving them!
Recommended wiring
We recommend the McNelly Wild Ranges are paired with 500k pots and 0.022uF caps.
Installation
These pickups are the unique, larger Wide Range Humbucker sizing so please ensure your pickguard/guitar body can accomodate this larger size, with short leg baseplates. They are 1c braided wired as standard. If by chance you aren't comfortable installing these pickups yourself, and are local to the Home of Tone, then I offer professional in-house installation. If you are installing them yourself, then I am of course here for any installation advise too.
Note: These will not fit standard HB routs.
