For some offset players, the 'rocking' or tilting style traditional bridge style just doesn't suit their setup or playing style. This could be for a number of reasons, such as using lighter gauge strings resulting in reduced tension over the bridge, heavier strumming style, or simply due to intonation reliability depending on the exact bridge you use.
So converting your bridge to a 'fixed', non-rocking bridge can better suit. These bushings from Hosco help do just that! Insert them into your traditional body thimbles, then fit your bridge into the bushings, resulting in a non-rocking setup. These are proper molded plastic, rather than the 3D printed ones you sometimes see on the market.
Above are the useful measurements of the bushings/inserts. Well worth measuring your bridge thimbles to ensure these bushings will be a nice and secure fit. It would also be worth measuring your bridge posts to ensure the bridge will fit within the bushings too.
Here's a photo example of the bushings installed into standard genuine Fender thimbles.
Along with a photo of a Staytrem bridge installed into the bushings too.
These will stop the bridge from 'rocking', converting it into a 'fixed' style bridge, which is helpful for those of you who perhaps prefer using lighter gauge strings on your offset, meaning the rocking bridge method doesn't work as well. Or simply if you want a little more reliability for your intonation adjustments. I stock these and you can view the product listing for them HERE
