UPDATE - NOW SOLD OUT, NO FURTHER SETS AVAILABLE
I realise the ever growing lines of Joe Bonamassa signature guitar products is a somewhat polarising subject within the guitar world, but I personally feel items like these are less about Joe, and more about the vintage guitar they're based upon. So whether you are a die hard JB fan, or simply another deeply passionate vintage guitar fan, these pickups have their place for sure.
We all know of Joe's vast knowledge, even vaster collection and vast experience of handling/playing vintage instruments, so when he covets a specific instrument, it surely must be a special one. That's the case with his 1950 Broadcaster, one he purchased from Normans Rare Guitars in 2023 (check out the video of the actual guitar in a via within the 'demos' section), and this is the pickup set that has been lovingly recreated by the Seymour Duncan Custom Shop team of Maricela Juarez, Derek Duncan & Seymour W. Duncan himself. I must admit, with Joe's tenure learning from one of the absolute best Tele players ever, Danny Gatton, I think we can all agree he's likely spent some time around some damn good Teles and Broadcasters in his time.
To honour the 250 Broadcasters known to be made, this limited edition signed run has been limited to 250 sets. These sets have been personally signed by Seymour W. Duncan himself, as well as Joe Bonamassa. Aside from their great specs, attention to detail and sound, we must admit, a set signed by SD and JB is a nice collectors/enthusiasts piece too. I have been able to secure a couple of sets for Home of Tone stock, and pleased to have them available here, especially so now seeing that Seymour Duncan USA have sold out already.
