About

Switchcraft are widely regarded as industry standard for quality components. Their products are used by big brands, luthiers and repairers alike, and I'd trust and recommend their jacks and switches.

This is the traditional right angle mount Switchcraft toggle switch, as used by Gibson in their US built SG's for example as well as Fender's USA Jazzmaster. It comes as standard without a switch tip, but you can choose a switch tip of your choice via the drop down menus. It comes supplied with a standard mounting nut. An Important note: The thread length of this switch is fairly shallow at 5mm which is not long enough to fit through most SG top's. Therefore, we recommend also purchasing the extended knurled nut to extend bushing length to securely fasten it to the instrument. This is the exact same style nut that Gibson use.
The thread length however is usually ample to mount via a pickguard if you're purchasing this for a Jazzmaster type design.

To help with soldering, all Switchcraft switches have been pre-tinned contacts from the factory. For tips on wiring these up, please see our wiring diagrams which are available via a link at the bottom of the website.

Useful Dimensions -
Overall internal depth from thread - 21mm
Mounting thread depth - 5mm
