About
I'm excited to announce the return of Stringjoy strings to the Home of Tone! I first stocked stringjoy back in 2017, then simply due to a transitional change in distribution and other commitments wasn't able to re-stock. But I'm very pleased to see these back on my shelves thanks to their new UK distributor whom has always been supportive of the Home of Tone which is great!
Stringjoy are a Nashville based string company and manufacturer established in 2014. They've since gained a huge following for both their quality of product and useful media content too. Many well established players and guitar makers have taken to Stringjoy as their brand of choice which has certainly also helped their following.

The Broadways are their vintage style, pure nickel string, many feature some slight variations on the more common string gauge choices. Refinements made from testing, developing and in speaking with players too via their custom order processes. They often refer to these gauges as 'balanced' sets, but I'll list each below so you can see which is right for you.

I stock the Stringjoy in a variety of gauges, here I have the Broadway strings in a Heavy Bottom Light gauge 10-52
Here's what Stringjoy say about the set! -
"Some folks call this gauge “Skinny Top”, some call ’em “Light Top, others call ’em “Thin Top”. But everyone agrees, they’ve got one heck of a heavy bottom. Our Heavy Bottom Light Broadways are a particularly fun set because the added flexibility of the wound strings offsets the extra tension nicely, giving you a set that’s plenty powerful, but also plenty playable.

If you’ve ever played Pure Nickel strings before, these strings have even more nickel in them than the strings you’ve played in the past. That means more of that rich, full tonal character. It also means more flexibility, since the round core is thinner than it is in other sets. But these don’t sacrifice when it comes to strength or durability either, and they hold tune with the best of ’em."
