About Seymour Duncan
Seymour Duncan have long cemented themselves as the leading aftermarket pickup brand in the world, offering a staggering selection of models, and doing so affordably too. Throughout their range they have created iconic models that stand the test of time, popular for a variety of guitars and music styles.
About the 59™ Model
The iconic Seymour Duncan 59™ has graced so, so many production model guitars from a variety of guitar brands, has been installed by countless guitarists across the world. This is a staple in the SD range, and for good reason. If you're hoping to capture the spirit of the original P.A.F, this is such a great way to do so.
Here at the Home of Tone you'll find the most popular neck position version, in standard string spacing, 6 string spec with both 1 conductor 'braided' traditional wire, and 4 conductor wire. But, if you require other colours/cover styles, As a SD Main Dealer I can certainly help source and supply any model from the SD range.
What SD say:
"The ’59 neck model is one of our most popular pickups because it’s so versatile. Like its bridge-position sibling, the ’59 neck is designed in the spirit of the original P.A.F. humbuckers of the 1950s, with sweet sustain, and a warm, full sound that still possesses a clear attack. We’ve made a few refinements to slightly modernize the design and make it more adaptable to different styles. The high end is slightly boosted for improved pick-attack clarity and the mids are a little scooped for an open, smooth sound that’s great for preserving the clarity of the individual notes in a chord. The ’59 neck was born to accompany the ’59 bridge, but countless players pair it with a high output bridge humbucker, such as a JB or Custom. It’s also a popular choice for humbucker-routed Telecasters."

Installation
These pickups are a direct replacement in terms of sizing and spec for a traditional uncovered, short leg humbucker pickup. They are available with traditional 1c braided cable for traditional install methods, or with 4 conductor wire which means you could wire it with some alternative switching options comfortably such as coil split, phase reversal or series/parallel, making them very versatile. If by chance you aren't comfortable installing these pickups yourself, and are local to the Home of Tone, then I offer professional in-house installation. If you are installing them yourself, then I am of course here for any installation advise too.
