About the Custom Shop 50th Anniversary '59 humbucker set
I am 99.9% certain I am the only UK dealer with stock of these cool, 50th Anniversary Custom Shop '59 pickups, so very proud to be able to offer these to my customers! I'm sure they'll find the right home :) This limited edition release (500 worldwide) have now fully sold out with the custom shop, so after this set I don't think I'll be able to secure any more.
As HoT followers will know, I generally personally photograph every product listed on my website, but as this is the only set I could obtain, I wanted to be respectful and not open the individually wrapped pickups, to ensure they remain unopened for the customer who kindly purchases them. So the photos are the 'stock' Seymour Duncan photos they have taken (aside from my packaging photos), but rest assured I have the stock with me here.

Vintage P.A.F. pickups are revered for the tones captured on countless classic recordings, with variation among individual pickups yielding a wide spectrum of voicings. Early in his career, Seymour developed a deep understanding of these variations by rewinding, repairing, and studying countless vintage pickups.
 
With the '59 Model, Seymour’s goal was to define his ideal interpretation of a P.A.F., one with an Alnico 5 magnet that captures the open, airy character and three-dimensional harmonics of the best originals, while offering balance between neck and bridge. The bridge pickup delivers enhanced pick attack with smooth sustain perfect for rock and blues. The neck pickup offers warm, crystalline clarity with scooped mids that preserve every note's definition. Together, this versatile combination has long been a favorite of players like Trey Anastasio, Ben Harper, Paul Stanley and more.
 
The core tone recipe of the '59 Model was established when production began in the 1970s and has never changed. Over time, small refinements were introduced to enhance consistency and player flexibility, such as bobbins more compatible with vacuum wax potting and four-conductor wiring for coil-splitting. To celebrate our history, this exclusive Custom Shop 50th Anniversary edition returns to early specs including butyrate bobbins, long-leg baseplates, single-conductor wiring, maple spacers, and rough-cast Alnico V magnets, while retaining the classic '59 Model tone.
 
Each set is meticulously hand-built by our elite Custom Shop team, led by the legendary Maricela "MJ" Juarez. Every bottom plate bears the signatures of Seymour W. Duncan himself and MJ, accompanied by original replica "Seymourized" and model name stickers. The lightly aged vintage styling and exclusive commemorative packaging complete this limited edition capturing 50 years of excellence. Installation

These pickups are traditional uncovered humbucker sizing, with long leg baseplates (so better suited to Les Pauls, traditional 335s, or a guitar with pickup cavities routed deep enough for long leg baseplates). They are 2 conductor wired as standard. If by chance you aren't comfortable installing these pickups yourself, and are local to the Home of Tone, then I offer professional in-house installation. If you are installing them yourself, then I am of course here for any installation advise too.

For online ordering and dispatch - In stock, non made to order items are processed and dispatched 4 days a week; Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday.
For orders that are placed on a Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday I have an order cut off time of 14:00GMT (with Royal Mail shipping services only) to allow me chance to process, pack and dispatch your order same day.
For non dispatch days (Saturday, Sunday, & Thursday) there is no order cut-off time, and these will be processed, packed and shipped on the closest following dispatch day.
