With the frustration experienced for many buyers in recent years thanks to online marketplaces accomodating sellers shipping out fake string sets, I wanted to reassure visitors and customers of the Home of Tone that you can buy Elixir strings with confidence here as ALL of my stock is purchased directly from the UK sole distributor for Elixir. So you can guarantee that strings purchased here, are genuine Elixir sets.
Here at James' Home of Tone, if you order 2 or more sets of Elixir strings within one order, you will receive 10% off the Elixir sets. The discount will be automatically applied to your checkout cart if you have x2 or more sets in the cart for that order. You won't be able to use additional discount codes alongside this automatic discount. It can be used by UK or International customers, and does not apply to mixing with other string brands. The code is exclusively for 2x or more sets of Elixir only, acoustic and/or electric! Any questions just let me know!
Local pickup - If you are local and wish to collect any items or order in advance for collection on a specific day, then you can still place an order online and select local pickup at the checkout. Or drop me a message and I'll reserve the items ready for your visit.
For online ordering and dispatch - In stock, non made to order items are processed and dispatched 4 days a week; Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday.
For orders that are placed on a Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday I have an order cut off time of 14:00GMT (with Royal Mail shipping services only) to allow me chance to process, pack and dispatch your order same day.
For non dispatch days (Saturday, Sunday, & Thursday) there is no order cut-off time, and these will be processed, packed and shipped on the closest following dispatch day.
I will always endeavor to fulfill orders as quickly as I can and if you have specific requirements for a delivery date please do let me know and hopefully I can help.
