Super strong, tumbled 300 Series Stainless Steel with brass compensated saddle set. Has both string-through-body and top loader holes. The 3 saddle screws are spaced for 2 & 1/16" (52mm) spacing, in keeping with the import spec bridge this is designed to replace. The mounting hole pattern corresponds with that of a 5-hole style bridge, and has material thickness of the steel vintage T-Style bridge (1.15mm thick).
Ships with screws, hex wrench and a pair of shorter height adjustment screws to prevent players from scraping up their palms with certain set-ups.
This bridge was modeled to line up with the hardtail used on many import models, Squier being the main example. In the case of top loading bridges by the same company, the top 2 screws are further down the plate and would require plugging and redrilling. Please reference the drawing against your current bridge.
IMPORTANT INSTALL NOTE: Due to the thinness of this material when compared to the thick plate you are replacing, it is strongly recommended that you countersink your screw holes in the body, prior to installation. Otherwise, you run the risk of puckering your finish from the bit of the bevel on the underside of the screw head that will compress into the wood. A drill press isn't the only way to achieve this but if you have one, you might as well use it. If in doubt, visit your favorite guitar tech or maybe just a neighbor with a drill press, a Dremel tool, or even a handheld drill.
