About Seymour Duncan
Seymour Duncan have long cemented themselves as the leading aftermarket pickup brand in the world, offering a staggering selection of models, and doing so affordably too. Throughout their range they have created iconic models that stand the test of time, popular for a variety of guitars and music styles.
About the Little '59 for Tele
If you prefer hum-cancelling pickups over single coils, want a little more PAF like character and tonal response from your tele but don't want to hunt for a different bridge and have to get the router out too, then this is the pickup for you! SD have managed to fit some PAF like elements of design into a direct tele bridge pickup size, with adjustable pole pieces for each coil too! It is a humbucker by design, so expect a little more midrange, thicker bass response and balanced trebles too, but also of course, hum-cancelling which is always a bonus for noise free operation. They come as standard with 4 conductor wiring, so you can really get creative with how you go about installing this one. Wire it as normal, opt for coil split, series/parallel (my personal favourite for this design).
What SD say:
"The Little 59 for Tele is like putting a well-balanced, full sized P.A.F. pickup into the bridge position of your Tele. This medium output, single coil sized pickup has a nice, even bass and treble response with a slightly scooped midrange that gives it that classic, full bodied humbucker sound. Great for everything from Country to Rock. The 4-conductor lead wire gives you access to parallel and split wiring options for added versatility. This pickup is a drop-in replacement for a Fender American Standard Telecaster sized pickup route. Pairs well with our Vintage Stack Tele neck pickup.
Hand made in Santa Barbara, CA, the Little 59 for Tele uses a ceramic bar magnet, 4-conductor lead wire for multiple wiring options, and is wax potted for squeal free operation."
Nerdy specs
Magnet - Ceramic
Type - Passive

Recommended wiring - The Little '59 is designed to be a drop-in solution for Telecasters without modification, so you certainly can pair this with more traditional spec 250k pots for example, but if you do prefer a brighter response it can also be paired with 500k pots really well!
What's included?
Inside the box you'll find the bridge pickus, along with your mounting screws and adjusters for each, and a wiring guide which covers wiring install.

Installation
These pickups are a direct replacement in terms of sizing and spec for a traditional Tele single coils. They are 4 conductor wired as standard, meaning you can get a little more creative with wiring options should you wish to. I personally highly recommend a series/parallel switch (either via push/pull or mini toggle for example) with the Little '59, works so well! If by chance you aren't comfortable installing these pickups yourself, and are local to the Home of Tone, then I offer professional in-house installation. If you are installing them yourself, then I am of course here for any installation advise too.
