2026 Epiphone Les Paul Special Double Cut

I purchased this guitar brand new in Feb 2026 to develop my LP Special DC pre-wired kit upgrade. After inspecting the factory wiring specs for reference, then installing a brand new, upgrade harness to test install methods etc, the guitar is now available for sale here. A nice chance to save over the price of a new one elsewhere, with the added advantage of it also have a full upgrade wiring harness already installed!
I must say, I was really impressed with the guitar though, really nice overall fit and finish, the stock P90s sound great through the upgrade wiring, and general playability is great. I'd generally be happy with this guitar in my possession! But had to remind myself it was purchased with the intention of developing my pre-wired kit for this model, so must stick with my plans! It's a great guitar, and hope it brings someone some enjoyment. It is otherwise a brand new instrument, all of the items provided with it untouched, will be send with all of it's new packaging as it came from the Epiphone dealer it was purchased from. Guitar has been very well cared for in my time working on it when developing the new wiring kit, so you're essentially getting a brand new instrument, with an upgraded harness, for less than the cost of a new one elsewhere. The original wiring components will be included in the case for you, but doubt you'll ever want/need them with the new upgrade harness in there which works much better than the original specs! Protective film remains on all of the plastics too etc.

"The Les Paul Special Double Cutaway is now available with the Epiphone Inspired by Gibson collection, bringing one of Gibson’s unique and interesting designs to a much more accessible price point. Originally launched in 1955, the Les Paul Special was designed to be a slightly more premium version of the stripped back Les Paul Junior. Since launch, players have gravitated to the Les Paul Special for its awesome visuals and mid range bite thanks to the P90 pickups. It’s awesome to see this model now available at such a great price point.
This Les Paul Special features a double cut body crafted from Mahogany, which helps to deliver this models iconic punchy tone. As this is a double cut away body, you have incredible access to the upper frets, allowing you to bend even the highest of notes! The glued-in Mahogany neck is super comfortable thanks to the 60s SlimTaper neck shape. This neck shape is inspired by the neck carves found on classic Gibson guitars crafted in the 1960s, which gives this affordable model a real vintage vibe and feel. The Rosewood fingerboard features a 43mm nut width, 24.75” scale length, 22 frets, and pearloid dot inlays.
The Epiphone P-90 PRO soapbar pickups sound great and super authentic. They will deliver everything from sweet, sparkling cleans to mean, fiery, distorted tones. Each pickup is wired to individual volume and tone controls for even more tonal flexibility. On this guitar you also have a set of Epiphone Deluxe Three on a Plate tuners, and a lightning bar compensated wraparound bridge.
