Now officially part of the standard line-up of McNelly Pickups, the bird takes flight! Firebird mini-humbuckers are loved and revered by many fans of humbuckers, defining the tone of the classic Firebird guitar with their slightly different design. Expect McNelly's take to be dynamic, clear and ready to fly.
Though they share the same size as mini-HBs, the design is unique. With magnetic blades, Firebird pickups are clear, responsive, and have punchy tone - similar to overwound Strat single coils - that cuts like a knife... ahem, but it feels so right.
Side note from me, James! I personally bought a set of three of these for my baritone guitar build by Odessa Guitars. I absolutely love the depth of character, bite and balance of warmth they have, Firebird humbuckers are awesome and these are some of the finest!
