About

Some Fender type headstock guitars struggle with break angle past the top nut to the tuner post. You’ll see some headstocks with two string trees installed for this very reason, but if you have a vintage styled model it’s safe to say you don’t want to drill additional holes for an extra tree. This is where this neat modded string tree comes in handy! This is a three string tree, utilising the single, traditional mount screw point.

Here’s what StewMac say -

“Get a better break angle for the G string without redrilling your peghead.

Do you wish your Fender style guitar had a better break angle for the G string? Do you have a vintage or valuable guitar that you don't want to alter by drilling for a second string tree? This triple string tree is for you!

Designed by the hardworking techs in Joe Glaser's shop, Music City Bridge, this custom string tree solves the "buzzing G" problem common to countless Fender guitars. And it's a simple and reversible mod!

Fix it with just a screwdriver
The Three String Tree String Retainer functions like a normal string tree, but has an extra wing that reaches over and grabs the G string. This wing gives the G just the right amount of downward pull, helping to reduce buzz and improve feel and tuning stability. It comes with three heights of Fender-style nylon risers to allow you to choose any break angle you desire.”

Includes 1 tree, 3 different size spacers, and 1 mounting screw. Nickel and relic nickel finish available.
