Seymour Duncan Pickups - Green Magic neck and bridge Humbucker set (nickel)

Few Les Paul tones get discussed more than the 'Greeny'. I've been offering pre-wired harness kits for nearly 10 years now, and the sheer amount of times it gets referenced or mentioned during inquiries is staggering. Safe to say that tone, whether it is because of PG, Gary Moore or now Kirk Hammet too, has players captivated and looking to recreate it themselves. As we well know, Seymour Duncan himself has long been a solid backbone to the pickup market, and has personally handled/heard and worked on many of these iconic pickups and instruments. So it's safe to say a pickup set like the Green Magic, taking inspo from the tones like Greeny, are in good hands and have been recreated with care. Vintage voiced PAFs here, but thanks to the factory reversed neck pickup magnet, you'll be able to create that out of phase middle position tone that makes these so iconic. But thanks to the 4 conductor wiring as standard on this set, you could ultimately swap the wires for in phase tones whilst still keeping the cover grounded too. Ideal!

Recommended wiring - The Green Magic model humbucker is generally seen paired with 500k pots, and 0.047uF (per SD's recommendation) or 0.022uF tone capacitor values depending on personal preference or application. From a personal standpoint, I do feel the 0.022uF is the better suited spec for Les Pauls for example. Cap specs are personal choice though and if fitting into an existing LP, I suspect you'll find it already has 0.022uF in there ready to go. 

Inside the box you'll find the neck and bridge pickups, along with your mounting screws and springs for each, and a wiring guide which covers traditional as well as alternative wiring styles. 

These pickups are a direct replacement in terms of sizing and spec for a traditional covered, short leg humbucker pickup. They are 4 conductor wired as standard which means you could wire it with some alternative switching options comfortably such as coil split, phase reversal or series/parallel, making them very versatile. If by chance you aren't comfortable installing these pickups yourself, and are local to the Home of Tone, then I offer professional in-house installation. If you are installing them yourself, then I am of course here for any installation advise too.

For online ordering and dispatch - In stock, non made to order items are processed and dispatched 4 days a week; Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday.
For orders that are placed on a Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday I have an order cut off time of 14:00GMT (with Royal Mail shipping services only) to allow me chance to process, pack and dispatch your order same day.
For non dispatch days (Saturday, Sunday, & Thursday) there is no order cut-off time, and these will be processed, packed and shipped on the closest following dispatch day.
