These great quality push-fit 'Speed Knob' control knobs most commonly found on Gibsons for example, look great and fit the USA split shaft sized pots at 5.95mm/24 spline. (Ideal for CTS for example). I have primarily begun stocking these though as the white have been used throughout Tom Delonge’s custom Starcaster guitars and thought it would be great to carry these to compliment my own TD Starcaster pre-wired looms. Cream were used on the Gibson and Epiphone ES-333 Delonge signature models, and The clear also looks ace and I think would suit some of the TD builds I’ve been seeing online so thought it would be good to stock these too! They will of course suit a wider variety of guitars, just ensure you have a suitable pot spec to fit them too.
These have really nice looking painted numbers for a quality look and finish.
Fitting notes
These are specifically made for USA sized pots, like the CTS pots we offer in harnesses for example. But do please ensure care is taken when fitting these control knobs to your pots as they are designed to be a snug fit on the pot shaft, but if forced on can course damage to your pots. Gently push them onto your pot shaft first. If it feels too tight, that excessive pressure is required, then stop and remove. Then slightly pinch the split shaft of the pot together and re-fit the control knob. It should push on fairly easily but with enough pressure to feel like it has sufficiently gripped the pot shaft. The design of a split shaft pot is to do this, ensuring a tight, secure fit on the control knob. Super super easy to fit, but I advice to take care when fitting to avoid any damage to your pot.
