Gotoh Nashville Tune-o-Matic Bridge with large posts for Epiphone type import guitars
This is a quality Gotoh replacement Nasvhille Tune-O-Matic bridge. The Nasvhille bridge is the same length as a standard ABR-1 but is slightly wider, allowing for greater saddle travelling distance. This provides more control over intonation which is very helpful in achieving an accurate set-up.
The bridge features larger mounting holes & the mounting posts and body inserts are included. This bridge will fit most Epiphone Les Paul's and Epiphone 335 instruments without modification.
Please note -
The saddles on this Gotoh bridge are held in place with a nut and bolt that is attached with a chemical thread locking compound to prevent the assembly from loosening. This ensures that the saddles sit firmly on the bridge, providing smooth intonation adjustment and eliminating the typical saddle "wobble" that occurs on most original tune-o-matic ABR-1 bridges. However, this design means that removing and replacing the saddles can be very difficult and may result in damaging the screw heads and scratching the bridge unit. It is possible to successfully remove the bond with the correct methods and tools but we recommend taking the bridge and replacement saddles to a qualified guitar luthier who can carry the work out for you.
