My Millimetric Instruments MGS3 featured in Stuff Magazine!

I was kindly approached by a writer at Stuff Magazine as they wanted to include Millimetric Instruments in their 'Upvoted' segment covering 9 superb guitars. What more I had the opportunity to photography it myself too which as a photography fan for almost as long as guitars was something I couldn't pass up to have a photo I had taken as the main image for the article, very humbled!

But I must say, it feels very cool to have used my own personal MGS3 for the shoot and have it in a major print magazine! Thanks to Stuff Magazine and Richard Purvis for getting in touch and having me involved in this feature, means a lot!

Seeing the colour come to life on my previous #MGS3Build update certainly made the build feel real, but not only that, I knew it wouldn't be long at all before I saw it all in one piece. The photo I shared on that previous article wasn't the best representation of the true colour, apologies there, but hopefully these images will give you a better idea of the colour and thoughts behind choosing it.

Last week was crammed full of seriously exciting updates from Montreal, safe to say the build is feeling very real now! I was able to see my idea for colour/finish come to life and it didn't disappoint, in fact it exceeded my expectations really!

Today was an exciting day for the MGS3Build, with it now more officially commencing! Florian sent through an absolute flurry of updates to me today (if you follow on Instagram I apologise for the build spam!) which saw some great progress on initial routing and the early stages of cleaning up the shape and cavities.

After a super excited, but patient wait. It's become my turn for my personal build by Millimetric Instruments. Cast your minds back to around this time last year, I sold a guitar I'd owned for a number of years after finally seeing the astonishing work by Florian in person, and felt super content in knowing once it's my turn it most certainly will be worth the wait. Well, I received the very first couple of photos of the build which will be commencing soon, after Florian went wood shopping for my MGS3 build.
